My name is Sheila and I adopted my cat, Riley, from the Humane Society of Tulsa in May 2003. He has been such a success story that I wanted to provide an update for anyone that might remember him. Riley was a stray that was rescued by the Humane Society and when he went under to be fixed, he got very very sick. Turns out he has a kidney condition and the vet and Humane Society were very unsure of his future. I chose to foster Riley because whatever time he had left, I felt he should be in a loving home (and spoiled rotten). Riley just celebrated his 5th birthday and is a very healthy guy. With prescription food (and a fantastic vet - Thanks Dr. Rust), he continues to live like a normal, healthy cat. Attached is a current photo. He was giving me driving lessons in the car. Riley's big sister Gracie was also adopted at the Humane Society and we recently added a little sister, Roxie, to the crew.
